You would be forgiven for thinking at first glance that these are Ercol chairs. They’re not but they are nonetheless very nicely crafted, vintage dining chairs in elm and beech. With seven spindles, a curved back bar and splayed legs, the design is simple and economical, rather Shaker-esque. They would look great in a cosy, country kitchen around a rustic table. The chair proportions are economical too. With a depth of just 47.5cm they would be ideal for a dining area where space is tight. Solid and robustly made, they would make a super set for a busy family home. Get the Ercol look for a fraction of the price!
