Description
This original, vintage table is ‘sold as seen’. Overall, it is in good, used condition. It has been checked and cleaned inside and out, and a natural beeswax polish applied to the external wood but otherwise the finish is original. As you can see from our photos, the table top, which has a lacquered, high gloss finish, has some sunlight fading, light scratches and superficial scuffs, in line with its considerable age and function. In the overall context of the piece this isn’t a deal breaker. The drawers slide with ease, are wonderfully made with dovetail joints and have clean, tidy interiors. The brass handles are original and securely attached. It comes with working locks and a key. The table is well made, solid and with no wobbles or joint concerns. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated. You are also welcome to collect from us either in Haverhill, Suffolk or near Diss, Suffolk and we’re happy to hold pieces after purchase while you consider your options and make collection arrangements.
