Vintage German ‘Wasserburger’ Bierkeller Folding Trestle Table & Pair of Benches

We reckon things have got pretty messy and pretty silly around this authentic German beer festival folding trestle with matching benches at times! The marks and scars from rowdy drinking sessions are etched into the orange painted tops in the most fantastic way. We can’t get enough of the patination and ageing and we love the orange against the blue painted metal work of the legs. Stamped Wasserburger on their undersides, the benches match the length of the table. Made in thick, solid pine with cast iron bases and legs underneath, all mechanisms and clasps are in great working order, easily erected and collapsed as and when needed. This would make an excellent, talking-piece set for the garden, stowed flat in the shed out of season. But also super useful inside the home for Christmas, parties or whenever extra table top space and seating is needed.

Description

This is authentic, vintage set, comprised of a trestle table and two folding benches, is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, used condition with signs of aging and wear which are very much part of its appeal. We have checked and thoroughly cleaned each of the individual piece but otherwise the paint finish is original throughout. The cast iron legs fold out with ease on all three pieces. All hinges, metalwork and catches are in very good, working order / condition. There are some signs of tarnishing and rust to the blue paintwork on the metal but this is light and shown in our images. The orange painted tops of the table and benches are worn, scuffed, marked and faded from use.  This is clearly shown across our photos. The benches are branded Wasserberger underneath.
