Vintage Danish 1970s Brown Double Bubble Spotlight Floor Lamp – Fully Restored
These vintage, Danish bubble lamps make a subtle eccentric statement without showing off. They’re wonderfully quirky, fun pieces. Obviously retro, their vintage charm works in a modern setting, mixing well with more contemporary pieces and styles. This floor light has been carefully restored and although it may carry a few light superficial knocks and scuffs here and there, these don’t detract from its appeal and function in anyway. The spotlights can be height adjusted and angled to illuminate just the right area. It hails from Denmark, dates from the 1970s and is most probably by ES Horn but sadly there is no label in place anymore.

This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamps have been rewired with new black, fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, along with new, independent switches and plug, and it has PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled with the screw arm joints, and they can be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening these arms. As you can see from our photos, the metalwork carries light tarnishes, small dents and scratches, as does the weighted base, as you might expect with a vintage piece but these are minor and don’t in any way detract from the appeal of the piece. Indeed, they are part of its history and charm. It’s imported from Denmark, dates from the 1970s and is most likely by ES Horn.
