Vintage 1960s Beaver & Tapley Teak Cabinet by Robert Heritage

Designed by Robert Heritage for furniture maker, Beaver & Tapley Ltd in the 1960s, as part of its ‘Multi-width’ range, this is a classic piece of British midcentury, very much influenced by the Scandinavian aesthetic of the day. At a glance a simple, little cupboard with sliding doors and slim proportions but look closely to appreciate some thoughtful, elegant design details like the tapered legs, the cut of the handles and the contoured border that frames the front edges.
