Original Mid-century 1970s G Plan Fresco Small Corner Cupboard

In a former life, this would have been the base to a tall corner unit with open shelves for displaying treasures. Now just a compact, double-door cupboard, it makes a handy, little storage option and stand for a dull spot, and it could work in pretty much any room in the home from bathroom to bedroom to lounge. Made in teak and afromosia, the latter creating the distinctive dark frame around the front and the signature Fresco drawer handles.

Description

This original, vintage cupboard is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have thoroughly cleaned the piece inside and out, applying a natural wax polish to the exterior surfaces. The interior is clean and tidy, and the curved doors move freely with working magnetic closures. On the left hand cupboard door there are some superficial mark – splashes and a little patchiness here and there. Please refer to our photos. It’s not hugely noticeable though and doesn’t greatly detract from the piece. The original E Gomme label and red G Plan sticker are affixed to the back.
