Original Mid-century 1970s G Plan Fresco Bedside Table
Classic British midcentury design from G Plan’s ever-popular Fresco range of the 1970s in bedside table form. This neat, little bed stand is comprised of an open fronted cupboard and lower drawer, providing you with all the small storage and space you need for your night-time routine. Made in teak and afromosia, the latter creating the distinctive dark frame around the front and the signature Fresco drawer handles, sadly we have just the one but actually we rather like mix and match bedside tables to keep things varied and interesting!
Description
This original, vintage bedside table is ‘sold as seen’. It is in excellent, used condition. We have thoroughly cleaned the piece inside and out, applying a natural wax polish to the exterior surfaces. The lower drawers is well-made with dovetail joints, slides easily and has a clean, tidy interior. There are some very minor scuffs and indentations to the external wood but this is minimal, barely noticeable and in line with the piece’s age. There are no signs of any repair. The red logo label is still affixed inside the drawer. Please browse our photos for a good sense of this piece’s excellent order.
