Description
This original, vintage piece is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have checked and cleaned the piece inside, and the exterior surfaces have been fully restored, a process that involved chemically stripping away the original finish (gentler than sanding ensuring the vintage character of the piece isn’t removed entirely), followed by layers of oil and then wax polish for a durable, consistent finish. The two cupboard doors open and close with ease with all hinges and closures in good, working order. Each cupboard as a removable shelf inside and the interiors are clean and tidy with just light signs of use. All four drawers slide with ease, feature dovetail joints and have clean, tidy interiors with only light signs of wear too. The top cutlery drawer is green felt-lined and sectioned. There are very minor knocks and blemishes here and there on the exterior wood in line with its age which we’ve shown in our photos. Overall it’s very well constructed, solid and stable. Sadly the maker’s plate is no longer in place inside the door but this is a well-documented design that we attribute with confidence. We’ve sold several over the years. Note: this is a large and particularly heavy piece that cannot be dismantled so do bear this in mind when considering access.

Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated. You are also welcome to collect from us either in Haverhill, Suffolk or near Diss, Suffolk and we’re happy to hold pieces after purchase while you consider your options and make collection arrangements.
