This is an original, vintage dining room set that is ‘sold as seen’. We have serviced this table, giving it a thorough clean and check, and nourished the wood with a natural wax polish but otherwise the finish is all original. The table is extended by pulling apart the two sides to reveal the extra section integrated into the middle. This rotates, folds out and flattens into place and the two sizes are pushed back together for a seamless table top. All hinges and mechanisms are in very good working order. There are some superficial knocks and faint marks here and there but nothing to flag and nothing hugely noticeable. The table is stable and solid, a well-made piece with no repairs or areas of concern. The chair frames have been serviced, cleaned and natural beeswax polish applied to revive the shine but otherwise the finish is original. There are minor knocks and lightly faded / worn patches as you might expect with furniture of this age which can be seen in our photos. The seat pads have been fully reupholstered inside and out. The fabric is a quality, heavy duty upholstery cloth meant for high use use. They are well-made with no wobbles or joint concerns. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
