Description
This is an original, vintage cabinet that ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition. We have thoroughly checked and cleaned this piece inside and out, reviving the wood with a natural beeswax polish but otherwise the finish is original. It’s in great order with just minor signs of wear and tear in line with its age. The lower glazed section features two glass doors which slide with ease in their runners. Inside there is an adjustable shelf and the interior is clean and tidy here. In the upper section there are two drawers and a small, fall-door bureau with further pigeonhole storage inside. Again, the interiors are in good, clean order with just light signs of use. All hinges and handles are securely attached and in good order too. It’s stable, solid and very well-made with no repairs or areas of concern. The Avalon maker’s mark can be seen inside the top drawer. Please browse our photos for an accurate account of this item.
