Vintage Black Vinyl Stool with Drawer

A touch taller than a chair-side sewing box and a little lower than regular vintage footstool, this is an unusual little piece. Underneath the textured black vinyl seat is a discreetly hidden drawer, sectioned with removable dividers for organisation. We wonder if it was intended as a piano / music stool perhaps?
