This statement midcentury high-board dates from the early 1970s and was made by British manfacturer, Jentique. It has it all going on – drinks cabinet, cutlery drawer, bookcase, open shelves and storage cupboards. A multi-purpose, substantial domestic piece that covers so many practical bases. The proportions are large but it would negate the need for many individual pieces of furniture in a room. Despite its plus 50 years, it’s in remarkably good order. Clearly its been loved and taken care of in its former life. Very retro and very handsome. We love the concave bend of the front and those darker, contoured handles.
