Description
This is an original piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in overall good, used condition. We have checked and cleaned the piece inside and out and applied a natural wax polish to the exterior surfaces to rejuvenate its finish but otherwise it’s all original. The single cupboard door swings with ease with the closure in good order. Inside there is a fixed central shelf dividing the cupboard space. The cupboard interior is clean and tidy with just light signs of use. The vintage brass handle is securely attached and lightly tarnished with age. It is not the original wooden handle which was heavily chipped so we’ve swapped for another from the same period. It looks much better for it. There are superficial marks, scuffs and light blemishes here and there to the exterior wood surfaces which can also be seen across our photos. These very much add to its vintage appeal in our view and are what we would expect to see on a piece of this age. There are no visible repairs to this cabinet. It’s well-made, solid and sturdy.
