Vintage Danish 1960s Red Ceiling Lampshade by Lyfa
A striking, triple tiered pendant lampshade by Danish lighting company, Lyfa, that dates from the 1960s. Now fully restored with compliant fittings and a length of white, fabric braided flex, this vintage piece is good to go. Finished in post-box red with white interiors, light radiates out from the three sections to give a softer glow, rather than spotlight glare. This could be a welcome note of colour and distinction in a neutral room.
Description
This original, vintage piece is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have carefully cleaned and fully restored it with new, compliant fittings and with a generous length of white,, fabric-coated, braided flex, ready for it to be wired in to take pride of place on a ceiling. There are some very minor scratches and scuffs to the finish on the metal (please see our photos), but they would be barely noticeable, certainly not when elevated and in situ. This wear and tear is what we might expect with a piece of this age and nature.
