Description
This original, vintage bookcase is ‘sold as seen’. Overall it is in good – very good, used condition. The piece has been checked, cleaned and wax polished on its external surfaces but otherwise the finish is original. The bookcase is divided into two sections. There are two height adjustable shelves on the left side and one in the other. There are four sliding glass doors, all in great order with no chips or issues to report. The slide freely in the runners. The interiors and shelves are clean and tidy. Overall, the piece carries some light scuffs, knocks and superficial marks here and there on its exterior, as you might expect with a vintage piece of this age, but overall this is minor – do browse our photos for an accurate sense of its condition. It is solid and sturdy with no wobbles or signs of repair. The Morris of Glasgow maker’s mark isn’t in place but we attribute it with confidence as it has many signature details such as the style of the shelf pegs and the construction. Do browse our photos for a good sense of its great order but please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any queries.
