Set of Five Vintage 1960’s McIntosh Model 9533 Teak & Vinyl Dining Chairs

McIntosh of Kirkcaldy, Scotland, quickly established a reputation for excellence in both craftsmanship and design back in the late fifties, early sixties.  Taking influence from their contemporaries, both British and Scandinavian, they mastered that balance between form and function, producing practical, affordable furniture that was thoughtfully and elegantly designed. There are beautiful curves on these chairs, and the tapered seat fronts mean they slot neatly under any dining table. This set of five are their model 9355 chairs, made in solid teak upholstered in black vinyl. They are in outstanding condition and their classic, clean design means they will partner with any dining table of any period or style.
