Rare Vintage Ercol Square Coffee Table with Magazine Rack
A rare find from renowned British maker, Ercol, this square coffee table is seldom seen. It ticks all the ‘signature design details’ boxes for Ercol… solid British elm table top with soft, fall-away edges; beech splayed legs that taper; outstanding blond wood grain; superior handmade construction. It comes with a generous, spindled, magazine rack underneath. The condition is superb. It’s been taken great care of. A highly collectable piece for the Ercol fanatics out there and a timeless piece of design by Lucian Ercolani.
Description
This is an original, vintage table that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good – excellent, used condition. It has been checked, cleaned and a natural polish applied but otherwise its original finish has been left alone as it’s in such fantastic order. There are very light marks here and there as you might expect with a used piece, and some superficial scuffs on the legs but nothing to call out. It’s very well made, solid and stable with no signs of repair. The Ercol label can be seen underneath.
