Pair of Original Vintage Stag Bedside Tables with Drawers
A cracking pair of teak veneer bedside stands from British furniture maker, Stag. Each has two generous drawers, offering a great deal of storage space for all those essentials you need to hand in the bedroom. Neatly designed with compact, clean-lined good looks and featuring Stag’s signature metal cleft handles, they are in good, overall order. Although checked, cleaned and polished, we’ve opted not to complete a full restoration so there are some light signs of wear and tear on the top surfaces but nothing that jars, and it means we can offer the pair at a good value price, compared to others we seen available. They date from the 1970s and will mix and match easily with other styles of bedroom furniture.
Description
This sale is for an original, vintage pair of matching bedside tables and they are ‘sold as seen’. Overall, they are in good, used condition. We have thoroughly cleaned the pieces and applied a natural beeswax polish to the exterior wood. We have opted not to complete a full restoration as the wear and tear, although there, is minimal – this is reflected in our price. As you can see from our photos, the drawer fronts and sides are in great order but there are some superficial marks and scratches to both top surfaces, including a ring mark on one. All four drawers slide with ease and are clean and tidy inside with just some minimal marks from use. They are well-made with no signs of repair or areas of concern. The Stag label is in place inside one of the drawers.
