Original Vintage Stag 1970s Teak Sideboard
Another more handsome compact sideboard, with neat, leaner proportions than many of the large conventional vintage sideboards that can be difficult to accommodate on the regular modern home. Made by Stag, a reputable British furniture maker, there are some really nice design details from the signature round handles to the authentic U-shaped legs. We like too the mix of curves with sharp lines. The lower height of this unit would make it ideal for a television or turntable. And it offers lots of storage with four large drawers. A well-made, robust piece of vintage furniture.
Description
This is an original, vintage sideboard that is ‘sold as seen’. Overall, it is in very good – excellent, used condition. We have cleaned it and applied a natural beeswax polish to the exterior wood but nothing more as it’s in such great shape. All four drawers are made with dovetail joints, the interior wood is in good, clean order with minimal marks, and they all slide with ease. There are some very minor scratches and scuffs to the exterior wood as you would anticipate with a vintage piece of this age. It’s a really well-made, practical piece of storage furniture that’s solidly constructed with no signs of repair. The maker’s label can be seen inside one of the drawers.
