Original Vintage Ercol Drop Leaf Round Coffee Table

A fine example of one of Ercol’s quirky, rare pieces, this neat, round coffee table features a folding drop leaf should you wish to stow it away or set it against a wall. It dates from the 1960s-1970s and as you would expect from Ercol, it’s beautifully made with the stunning grain of elm top as the centrepiece. We have fully restored it to as near to its original finish as possible.  This is one for Ercol collectors!

Description

This is an original,  Ercol piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in excellent, used condition. It has been thoroughly cleaned with the table top lightly sanded and a durable satin Osmo oil applied before polishing. The leg mechanism and hinges are all in excellent working order. There are very minor marks to the wood in line with its age but it’s in fantastic condition – it’s been taken good care of. Sadly the the official Ercol sticker is no longer in place but this is an authentic piece that’s well-documented and dates from the some time in the 1960s-1970s.
