Full Condition Report
This vintage table is ‘sold as seen’. It has been thoroughly cleaned and serviced, and the wooden table top has been restored. This involved chemically stripping off the original finish (less invasive than sanding and it keeps the veneer in tact), matt varnish and then wax polish. All other wooden surfaces have been buffed with a natural beeswax polish to revive shine but otherwise the finish is original. As you can see from our photos, there are minor knocks and blemishes here and there as you would expect to see on a vintage piece. The table cleverly converts to a card table by swinging the wooden top out at a right angle. It then folds out and flattens to reveal the green felt. All hinges and mechanisms are in very good working order. There are no repairs or areas of concern. The green felt in in good – very good order with just light marks, as shown. It’s a superbly made piece that’s solid and stable. There is a 1976 date stamp underneath. Do browse our photos for an accurate representation of its condition. Any queries or like to view?
