Original 1970s Danish Brown Leather Swivel Chair
Sitting in this chair is like being inside a hug. Large and enveloping, you sink into the soft, supple leather. It’s a Danish piece dating from the late seventies and is in great shape. Often these swivel chairs are a little bashed from rubbing against walls but not so with this one. A retro classic and the perfect indulgent seat for one, we guarantee everyone in the house will be fighting over chair rights!
Description
This is an original, vintage chair that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in overall very good, used condition. The leather has been cleaned with a specialist, nourishing cleaner. The leather upholstery on the single, large, over-sized cushion is in very good order. Although wrinkled and with some minor surface scuffs, as is the nature of vintage leather, it’s thick, soft and supple with plump inners. The cushion is fixed to the frame with buttons under each arms. The fixed leather upholstery on the curved chair frame is in overall good order, which we’re particularly pleased with as they’re often rather scuffed round the back where spinning has scraped the wall. The swivel base is in very good working order, rotating with ease. Please refer to our photos. Sadly there is no maker’s label but it was imported directly from Denmark.
