Modernist 1960s ‘Challenge’ Stainless Steel 24 Piece Cutlery Canteen

A handsome canteen of vintage 1960s cutlery in outstanding condition, given its considerable years. The orange satin and black velvet lined case has been wonderfully preserved and all pieces are present and in good order. It features six each of forks, knives, dessert spoons and teaspoons, also in excellent condition. The design is simple – horizontal stripes across the bridge of each piece. Forged in Firth stainless steel, each piece is stamped and the knives state the range ‘Challenge’ although we’ve not found another.
