Midcentury 1970s Danish Double Spotlight Floor Lamp – Fully Restored

This authentic Danish 1970s floor lamp is ready to plug in and go. It’s been restored, rewired and tested. It features two brushed metal, trumpet spotlights which are somewhere between gold and silver, a super neutral metallic. They can be angled on their arms and height adjusted on the main stem to direct the light where you want it to shine. Retro and sculptural, these are versatile pieces that can be set behind chairs or at the end of sideboards, or be freestanding by the bedside or in a dull corner to add brightness.

Description

This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamp has been rewired with new, black fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, new independent switches and plug, and it has been PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled by rotating them on their original, hinged arms. They can also be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening these arms. As you can see from our photos, the metal including the spotlights carries some scratches, dents and tarnishes. We also don’t feel this impacts the appeal of the piece greatly. The wear and tear is in line with its age and has been reflected in the price. There is no maker’s label sadly but this is a Danish import and it dates from the 1970s.
