Midcentury Danish Rosewood Record Cabinet

Made in Denmark, the design of this unit is unfussy, pared back and elegant, epitomising the midcentury aesthetic. It’s the Brazilian rosewood that’s the star feature here though, creating rich, animalesque stripes and patterns across the exterior surfaces. Pull down the door to reveal adjustable dividers for your favourite vinyl.  And there’s a further large drawer below for more stowing. It comes in very tidy condition with hardly any signs of wear and tear. Of course, it functions has a handsome bookcase / shelf unit / media stand too. A smart, versatile storage piece for your lounge, living space or family room.

Description

This original, vintage cabinet is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have cleaned the piece, inside and out, applying a natural beeswax polish to the exterior surfaces to restore its shine. The pull down door opens freely with hinges in very good order. The interior and shelves are clean and tidy with just light signs of use. The shelves and upright dividers are adjustable. The external wood surfaces are in very good order with just light marks and a little sunlight fading here and there. The solid wood legs have been added at a later date. Please browse our photos for a good sense of its super overall condition. It’s well made, Danish in origin and imported directly, although sadly we do not have a maker’s name.
