Description
This original, used shelf unit is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, vintage condition. We have checked and cleaned the piece, applying a natural beeswax polish but otherwise the finish is original and in good condition overall. The top section slots securely onto the base section with hidden dowels on either side. The top section features three shelves, the central shelf is fixed and the other two are adjustable. The double-sided base section features an adjustable shelf on the right hand side and three green baize lined miniature drawers on the left. All interiors are clean and tidy, in very good order. The drawers are beautifully made with solid teak fronts. The base section doors slide with ease in their runners. There is a small knock to the right side which we have shown in a photo. It’s not very noticeable and a minor flaw. There is a little sunlight fading to the exterior teak veneer but overall the wear and tear on this unit is light, minimal and it’s in great condition. The back of the piece is stamped ‘Made in Denmark’ and it was attributed at source to Feldballes Mobelfabrik. It’s well-made, stable and solid.
