Mid-century Danish Double Brushed Gold Spotlight Floor Lamp – Fully Restored

A good-looking Danish midcentury double spotlight floor lamp with striking shades. We love shape of these brushed gold spotlights, particularly the concave curve where the head meets the lamp’s long, narrow body. These are versatile lighting options with their multi-directional spotlights that can be rotated and height-adjusted on the tall stem. One slimline floor lamp, throwing light in two different directions as desired. Set behind a chair for reading, by the bedside, over a desk, next to your sideboard, to illuminate wall art, it will work anywhere where a burst of soft light is needed.

Description

This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamps have been rewired with new black, fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, along with new, independent floor switches and plug, and it has PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled with the screw arm joints, and they can be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening these arms. As you can see from our photos, the metalwork carries minor tarnishes, small dents and scratches, as does the weighted base, as you might expect with a vintage piece but overall these are minor and we don’t feel detract greatly from the appeal of the piece. Indeed, they are part of its history and charm. It comes from Denmark, imported directly.
