Description
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, used condition. The piece has been checked, cleaned and buffed with a natural beeswax polish on its exterior surfaces but otherwise the finish is original. There are minor, superficial knocks, blemishes and scuffs which can be seen across our various photos so do browse through. There are a few small tears in the blue lining of the top storage box. The original rope hinge was missing so we’ve replaced it with a chain. The drawer is lightly marked inside with age and use inside but otherwise is in good order. The lidded lower box was previously lined, most likely with blue silk to match the top section but this is now missing. It’s a nicely made piece that’s solid and stable.
