Danish 1970s Laoni Belysning Double Metallic Brown Spotlight Floor Lamp – Fully Restored
A very fine looking, Danish, midcentury floor lamp featuring two metallic brown, trumpet spotlights. Now carefully restored with independent switches for each lamp, it’s ready for the next 50 years of illuminating a home. The spotlights can be height adjusted on the main gold stem and posed with their original black arm fittings. Hailing from Denmark and produced by Laoni Belysning who made top quality lighting, this dates from the early 1970s and comes with considerable provenance and style. There are minor scuffs and scratches but nonetheless, this is a very handsome retro lamp that would fit easily into any room in the modern home.

Description
This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamp has been rewired with new, black fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, independent switches there for each lamp and plug, and it has PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled by rotating them on their original arms. They can also be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening these arms. As you can see from our photos, the spotlights carry minor scratches, tarnishes and small dents to the finish, including the weighted base. We also don’t feel this impacts the appeal of the piece too greatly. The wear and tear is in line with its age and what we would expect. The Laoni Belysning labels are in place inside the spotlights.
