Full Condition Report
This is an original, vintage sideboard that is ‘sold as seen’. We have checked and thoroughly cleaned the piece inside and out. The exterior surfaces – top, sides and fronts – have been fully restored, a process that involved chemically stripping back the original surface, followed by gentle sanding, then Osmo poly hard wax oil for a durable, consistent finish and a final wax polish and buff. The three drawers are very well-made with dovetail joints. They slide easily, have secure, original handles and clean interiors, and the top drawer is felt-lined. Each cupboard features a fixed recessed shelf inside. Again, the interiors are clean and tidy with handles, hinges and closures in very good order. The external surfaces are in super restored condition with just light signs of aging. The legs have adjustable brass feet. Do browse our photos for an accurate representation of the piece.
