Description
This is an original, preloved piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, vintage condition. We have checked and cleaned the piece inside and out and given it a buff with a natural polish. It looks to have been restored previously by someone else and this has been well done. It’s comprised of four drawers which slide easily, are well made with dovetail joints and have clean interiors with just light signs of use. The wooden handles are all original and securely attached. The vanity stand mirror can be angled by gently pulling / pushing. The mirror has a sprinkle of age spots here and there but nothing that compromises its function. The mirror and uprights could be easily unscrewed and removed if you just wished to just use the dresser. It is a very well-made piece that are solid and stable with no areas of concern. There are minor knocks and scuffs here and there on the exterior surfaces, commensurate with its considerable age. There is nothing of concern to flag but do browse our photos for a good sense of its colour and condition. There is no maker’s mark but the design and build of the piece strongly indicate it’s a utility domestic piece dating from some time in the 1940s / early 1950s.
