Description
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have cleaned the piece inside and out, and exterior surfaces have been restored. This involved carefully chemically stripping back the original finish (gentler and less invasive than sanding), oil and then wax polish. We have also sprayed the trim, legs and inset drawer handles as to restore it to its original matt black glory. The four drawers are constructed with dovetail joints, integral handles and they slide with ease. They have clean, tidy interiors with just light signs of use. The exterior surfaces are in very good order, following their restoration, with just faint blemishes remaining. There is a very minor chip on the back right hand corner which we’ve shown but overall it’s barely visible. Sadly the original Stag maker’s label is no longer in place. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later.
