Description
This original, preloved sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition. The sofa has been checked and the upholstery cleaned and a specialist nourishing balm applied. It has two cushions, one at the back and one across the seat, with zips and inners in good order. The cushions have white leather tops with matching white vinyl sides, piping and covered buttons. Overall, they are in good order with no tears, holes or loose buttons but there is some wear and tear to the piping as shown across numerous photos. Small nicks and scuffs here and there from use. This isn’t really noticeable, except on close inspection. There are some light blemishes and colour fading that cleaning didn’t remove along with some wrinkles but again, this isn’t very visible and is part of its lived in appeal. The original webbing underneath the cushions is in very good order. It’s taut and with just light signs of use. There are poppers to secure the cushions to the frame but the cushions do remain in place regardless. The chrome frame is heavy! It’s very well-made, stable and sturdy with no areas of concern. It’s been cleaned and buffed to restore its shine. There are protective caps on the six feet. Although we don’t believe it to be the Knoll original, it’s a fine, quality sofa made with superior construction. Do browse our images for an accurate sense of its condition.
