Set of Six Vintage Ercol Model 365 ‘Quaker’ Dining Chairs

These tall, arched ‘Quaker’ chairs, the model 365 design, are among the most elegant of Ercol’s extensive dining chair range and also some of the most sought after.  They were originally produced from the late 1950s through to the mid 1980s. Made from solid British elm and beech ‘blond’ woods with five-spindled backs and a generous seat height, these wider seat models offer much comfort and support round the table. This particular set is comprised of four regular dining chairs and two carver chairs with arms. They date from the late 1960s / early 1970s and are in incredible, original condition with just light signs of use. It’s a rare thing to find vintage Ercol chairs in such fantastic order.

These are original, vintage chairs that are ‘sold as seen’. They are in very good, used condition. They have been checked, cleaned and a neutral wax polish applied and buffed but otherwise their original finish has been left alone as it’s in such superb order. They carry very light signs of wear and tear, just minor superficial knocks and scuffs. Do browse our photos for an accurate representation of their outstanding condition. They are solid and sturdy with no wobbles or areas of concern. Three of the chairs have the blue labels still in place on the backs, dating them to late sixties / early seventies.
