Description
This original, vintage table is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition. We have checked and cleaned the piece, and the table top has been restored, a process that involved chemically stripping away the original finish (gentler than sanding ensuring the vintage character of the piece isn’t removed entirely), followed by layers of oil and then wax polish for a durable, consistent finish. This non-invasive, partial restoration means some minor blemishes remain including some sunlight fading on the top surface, as shown. There are some minor scuffs and marks to the legs and lower shelf but overall this is light and superficial, in line with the table’s age and function. It’s very well made, solid and stable. There is no maker’s mark in place but this is a well-known design and we attribute it with 100% confidence. Do browse our photos for an accurate account of this fine piece. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
