Danish Midcentury Large White Pendant Lampshade – Fully Restored

This is a large, matt white, vintage shade is designed to make a statement when hung from the ceiling. It was imported from Denmark and dates from the 1970s. The lower tier along with the spout at the top mean that, when switched on, the light diffused out at the different levels, creating glowing bands as well as downward illumination. A striking design that looks both midcentury and modern.

Description

This original, vintage pendant lampshade is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have carefully cleaned and fully restored it with new, compliant fittings and an energy efficient bulb, and with a generous length of white fabric-coated, braided flex, ready for it to be wired into place. There are very minor surface marks and scuffs here and there, primarily on the rims, but these are barely noticeable and certainly wouldn’t be when in position. This wear and tear is what we might expect with a piece of this age and material, and clearly shown in our pictures. This lampshade is imported directly from Denmark and dates from the 1970s.
