Designed by R Bennett for G Plan, as part of his late 1960s / early 1970s Form Five range, this freestanding, multi-functional unit serves as storage, and display space in one. Tall but shallow in depth and tidy in width, it would work wonders in a small room where going up is better than going wide. This set up features an upper cupboard, an adjustable shelf and fall door bureau / drinks cabinet, along with a generous lower cabinet that has the signature sliding Form Five doors. It’s a two-part piece with the upper section sitting on the deeper base. These versatile units offer more flexibility than built-in shelves.
