A really handsome example of the classic, Scandinavian, cantilever bentwood lounge chair. The high, deep gloss and fluid lines of the chair’s frame complement the soft and supple, aged brown leather cushions and buttoned arm rests perfectly. Not a chair to stick in the corner, it should be enjoyed from all sides – the back is quite something. It’s not just about the looks though, this is super comfy from the contoured back providing maximum support to the soft, thick leather cushions to the generous seat depth and width to the plump arm rests. It dates from the 1970s and we believe it’s most likely to be Danish but there is a chance its Norwegian as they also produced very fine, leather chairs.
