This midcentury bentwood leather lounge chair has had us scratching our heads. It’s such a statement design and its construction and materials are of the highest quality… and yet we’ve failed to attribute it. The maker’s mark is long gone but we simply can’t find anything with that unusual leather belt strap design across its back. The back is as interesting and as handsome as the front in our view, with some fantastic details like the belt strap and the toggles. Don’t stick this chair in the corner! It should be enjoyed from all sides. It’s not just about the looks though, this is really comfy from the tall, contoured back providing maximum support to the soft, thick leather cushions to the generous seat depth and width to the plump arm rests.
