These different elements can be configured in whichever way suits. This is a particularly useful, free-standing single bay, compromised of a drop-down partitioned cabinet, a teak shelf and a glass-front bookcase. Metal rods moor the unit and shelves into position underneath, a very clever piece of design engineering that’s strong and stable. This is a particularly system with the later wooden ladder uprights dates from the 1970s.
