An iconic piece of British mid-century design from Lucian Ercolani in exceptional original condition. Made between 1957 – 1972, this Ercol model 383 plank dining table has two drop leaves so can be set at three different sizes. A really practical design for a more compact dining space or kitchen. It’s made in Ercol’s preferred blonde wood with a solid English elm top and beech splayed legs. These Ercol tables are characterised by their table tops with softly tapered edges that gently slope off. The honey-toned patina of the elm is simply stunning and in our view the grain of vintage Ercol wood is so much more interesting and characterful than its later pieces. A timeless design that never goes out of fashion, an Ercol piece of furniture is for life.
