Such a versatile piece, this handsome, rosewood veneer open bookcase / shelf unit is freestanding, simply designed and compact. Its tall, shallow dimensions means it will slot easily into an alcove or alongside other pieces without dominating or demanding much space. The two shelves are adjustable, sliding in on hidden supports, meaning there are lots of options so you can get the configuration just right for your requirements, whether that be books, treasures, vinyl (the depth is perfect for 12 inches – see our photos), or perhaps a mix of all of these. Danish in origin, we don’t have a maker or specific age, although we would suspect it’s eighties, given its fantastic condition.
