Slimmer, neater and way less bulky than a traditional highboard, this shelf unit / room divider made by Stonehill from its Stateroom range is a handsome piece, offering all sorts of storage, shelf and display options. With a depth of just over 30cm it doesn’t intrude into the room and might suit an alcove by a chimney breast, often dead space where something not fixed would be more versatile. It’s also tidy at the back so could be used as a room divider in an open plan space, perhaps draped with plants on both sides.
