Vintage 1970s G Plan Form Five Teak Shelf Unit with Desk

The appeal of Roger Bennett’s ‘Form Five’ range for G Plan endures 50-60 years on. Designed in the late 1960s, Form Five furniture was produced into the seventies. The overall design was minimalist with clean lines and flat, unfussy surfaces, very much leaning into the Scandinavian midcentury aesthetic. In this particular two-part set-up, the upper section features a cupboard, discreet drawers and open display shelves. This sits on a deeper desk base with a further sectioned drawer and room for a chair to slot underneath. You could use this as a work station / desk but it could also be used as a vanity stand in the bedroom. These tall-freestanding units negate the need for fixed, built-in shelves and give you hidden storage and display space in one piece. Their height makes them great for small rooms where wall width is lacking… if you can’t go wide, go up.   Free local delivery within 25 miles / Fast UK delivery / Collection welcome!
