A fine piece of quality British midcentury design, this rectangular dining table dates from the early 1960s and comes with an exemplary heritage – it was designed and made by Gordon Russell. Its proportions and design are neat and tidy, comfortably seating four people and making it ideal for the kitchen or small dining area. Pull out the extension which resides cleverly underneath the table top and insert in the middle to increase its capacity to six. Following our restoration, it’s the stunning wood grain that elevates this table from the everyday, with walnut stripes running the width of the table top meeting a different wood, most likely dark oak, border and legs.
