An iconic piece of British mid-century design from Lucian Ercolani in superb, freshly restored condition. Made between 1957 – 1972, this Ercol model 383 plank dining table has two drop leaves so can be set at three different sizes. A really practical design for a more compact dining space or kitchen. It’s made in Ercol’s preferred blonde wood with a solid English elm top and beech splayed legs. These Ercol tables are characterised by their table tops with softly tapered edges that gently slope off. The honey-toned patina of the elm is simply stunning and in our view the grain of vintage Ercol wood is so much more interesting and characterful than its later pieces. Just marvel at the rich lines of grain on this table top. A timeless design that never goes out of fashion, an Ercol piece of furniture is for life.
