Vintage 1960s Dunvegan Teak Extending Dining Table by McIntosh

A refined, rectangular midcentury dining table from AH McIntosh of Kirkcaldy, made in the 1960s and mixing Scandinavian design influence with more traditional British style. McIntosh furniture is synonymous with superior craftsmanship and top quality wood, and you can see that here across its restored table top and on the tapered legs that pour down to the floor. We love the elegant curved sides of this table, the fine detail of the edge and also its slender profile, a nice change from chunkier dining table models of the same period. The extension section is cleverly integrated underneath, hidden when not in use but when the extra space is required, the two sides simply pull apart and it folds out for a seamless, large table option that can comfortable accommodate eight diners.
