First produced in the fifties, these Ercol Model 391 dining chairs have stood the test of time. They have enduring appeal and they look as good today as they did back then. This is a particularly sought-after model, highly prized with its splayed back spindles that finish beautifully below the line of the seat… they look as good from the back as they do from the front. They have neat, compact proportions which make them ideal for modern dining areas or kitchens with limited space. This set of four chairs is in super, original condition. They are particularly early ones – the label design tells us they’re from the 1950s so their condition is remarkable given their years. A British design classic.
