This set of four 1960s, teak dining chairs by British maker, Meredew, have come up a treat with a little TLC and some smart new upholstery. As midcentury dining chairs go, the design of these is more delicate and refined. We love the slender legs and slim back spindles. The seat pads have been freshly reupholstered in an Abraham Moon’s pure wool which features a herringbone motif. Up close, the colour is a complex weave of blues, mustards and beiges, but from a distance it’s a pale teal blue / grey. It’s a very handsome fabric that complements the tones of the frame wonderfully well.
