This old, salvaged school lab table with an accompanying pair of tall stools is an absolute blast from the past for anyone who grew up in the seventies / eighties. Karl’s completed a thoughtful restoration of the table taking due care not to strip away all its character, pen scratches, compass pricks and history. Made with a dark, solid iroko table top and solid blond beech legs, its construction is super solid, built to withstand the daily rough and tumble of school life. The two tall, solid oak stools are most likely not ex-school – their design is a little too finessed! – but they were acquired as a set and they partner brilliantly with the table, tucking neatly under when not in use and of course, both sides of the table and the ends can be sat at. This set would make an excellent kitchen island or breakfast bar.
